Accepting patients without insurance or covered by Medicaid

We’re open and finding more ways to help you.

To our patients:
For more than 45 years, nothing has been more important to us than the equitable access to quality healthcare services. This remains the heart of all we do each day.

Our top priority is the safety of you, our staff, and volunteers
We are implementing a variety of new protocols to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please limit the number of people who accompany you if you need to visit us. If you suspect you have COVID-19, call to discuss your symptoms with a nurse to determine the best course of action. Bradley Free Clinic is NOT able to test for COVID-19 at this time.

For patients needing medical services
We are here should you need us. Depending on your situation, you may be helped through telemedicine, phone, drive-thru services, and on-site as needed. For the well-being of our patients, staff and volunteers, we are seeing only medical necessary appointments at our office. Our medical services are available for needs such as ear infection, sore throat, diabetic needs, etc.

For patients needing pharmacy services
For your safety, we have reduced the patient visits by extending medication refills and follow up phone calls instead of office visits. Our pharmacy can provide medication refills or supplies to uninsured patients and can fill approved longer-term refills so you can have your medication in hand.

For patients seeking mental health services and HOPE Initiative
We provide psychiatry and counseling services either by phone or video calls. Peer Recovery Specialists for the HOPE Initiative are available and can assist in connecting you with available substance use treatment and recovery options.

For dental patients
Our dental department is following the recommendation from the Virginia Dental Association, and we are currently NOT seeing patients for routine dental services, restorative care, or extractions. We can consult by phone to a volunteer dental provider in the case of emergency dental needs, so if you know of someone experiencing a dental emergency, please have the individual call our office.

Be well.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our patients, volunteers, and staff. This starts at our clinic but extends to each of our homes and every aspect of daily life. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we should all take common-sense approaches to everyday life. This means:

· Be diligent about your health. Call us if you have a concern. We are here to help.
· Stay away from crowds and groups of people.
· Always maintain proper social distancing…stay at least three feet and preferably six feet from people you encounter.
· Remain at home as much as possible.
· Wash hands frequently and thoroughly.
· Avoid visiting older friends and relatives who are more likely to be susceptible to the disease. However, phone calls are encouraged to keep them engaged and upbeat.

We also encourage you to stay up to date with the following resources:

Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Virginia Department of Health (VDH)

If you have questions or a need, call the Bradley Free Clinic 540-344-5156. As always, we’re here to help.
